Is there any way to figure out a good wax to use for candles? I’ve tried several soy and parasol and coconut blends that get kinda melts in hot weather. I’m tired of buying and trying and it not working. I live in south Texas where it gets 105 in the shade at times.

Also, all these big companies how do they do it? Transporting candles without melting. They all are “100%” soy wax. How you tell and how can you stop yours from being the wicked witch of the west.

Maybe try adding some stearic acid to raise the melt point?

I have added stearic acid. It still melted.

Maybe I’m not doing this right? How can you really tell if you have a good solid recipe or wax for shipping? I mean I’ve put candles in the sun, in closed cars, in hot rooms and to some degree they all melt or are soft. Why do I do this do you ask? I’m trying to figure out what might not melt during shipping.

Does anyone have experience in maybe ratios between soy and beeswax? Soy and coconut wax? Coconut and soy?

I just don’t want to have a customer (if I ever figure out a good ratio) to get their candle and have it melted I’ve bought a couple from a retailer and it was a coconut apricot blend. I received it slightly melted and it was soft.

I really don’t want this to happen to anyone else.
ThAnks for help!
