Sometimes when making candles I have this inbetween problem where I either have wick that is
higher up that burns too fast and then the one below it doesn't go the full diameter of the candle.

So for instance I burn an HTP 105 which doesn't go to the end but then try an HTP 126 which burns
too hot and the burn depth is too deep.

Can you use votive wax in the one that burns to hot to cool it down somewhat so that you get a full
diameter burn with the higher wick? So if you are using Ecosoya Advanced you add in some Ecosoya
Votive at say 10% to cool down the burning? On a forum I was on years ago some one said you could
do this.

I'm not sure on mixing those two types of waxes as I haven't tried this. I would try a different wick. Try the CD series, ECO, LX, RRD, Performa or a Paper Core.

I've tried LX ones as well with mixed results.

I have the RRD and HTP ones which I prefer and I'm getting a few newer sizes of the HTP and RRD
so maybe that will solve my issue.

They don't have the CD or ECO here in Canada as I've heard great things about those wicks.

Good luck on your testing. It's a lot of trial and error.

Try emailing Bill at Candlewic. You can google it to get his contact info - they are very helpful. Just make sure you give him as much details as possible.
