It depends what type of soy wax you use. Some fragrances don't work well in soy. I would try a small experiment and see how it works out for you.
Some fragrances throw better in soy if you wait one to 2 weeks after you make them.

I know that this thread is about a month old, but it's exactly what I wanted to ask. And, to take it a step further, I have the soy wax, stearic acid & FO for candles. Now my questions are: if I melt 1 lb. of wax, how much stearic acid do I add to it and how much FO do I add? Thank you in advance.

For 1 lb. of wax, I would try 1 TBS. of stearic and 1% of fragrance. It also depends which fragrance you are using. Some are very strong, so you could use less, some are weak, so you would need to use more.

Before making a suggestion on how much FO you should use per pound.
Check with the manufators instructions. Some waxes will hold as much as 10% fo pp.

I use 1oz per pound. That is standard on soy wax. Anything more and I will have seeping and the wax becomes a fire hazard. Some soy waxes will only hold 3% of FO. So please check with the maker before you experiment.
