Teach Soap

Hey. We are a group of girls from my work place and we are trying to raise funds for an orphanage. We do such activities regularly for all the charity foundations nearby, and this time we have decided to sell candles for raising the funds required for the orphanage. We are making scented and gel candles and we have decided to start selling them by this weekend. But what I am concerned is about their packaging. We are kind of confused whether to go with printed or transparent packaging. Been thinking of getting it done from Clearpak Creative Packaging, Ontario. As I feel that packaging has a great importance in catching attention and bringing more customers, I do not want any compromises with it. Would really love to hear some good suggestion on this. How long have you been making these candles?
I make candles also. It takes quite a bit of time to figure out the size and type of a wick, the right (and candle safe) container, how much and what type of a fragrance to add, and which candle color is appropriate and safe. With gel candles, you also need to know about polarity as some fragrances do not work in gel candles.
If your candles have color, I would go with transparent. If they are uncolored, printed packaging would look nice.
