Hi all, Im very new to candle making - bought some lovely soy wax melts but prefer candles - the melts were from a lady who also made the container candles and said it was the same wax so could I melt the melts and wick them to make them into container candles? I know with the soy wax I got in a kit they said left over wax could be put into small moulds and used as melts so Im assuming you can go the other way too?

Possibly. If the melts were already scented, you might not be able to add more fragrance as it can seep out and create a fire hazard. You will also need to experiment with wicks, depending on the type of container you use.
