I am having trouble with my soy wax so I bought a metal tin container and advance soy wax with wu-250 wick I have seen many tutorials on container candles using this wick so I must be doing something wrong, when my candle has burned to the edge of the container or a little bit longer than that the wick drowns in wax I have tried unscented and scented and still this happent, I contact my supplier and the suggested another wick witch I am going to buy but I have 100 of this wick so I would really want to use them in something so can anybody help:

the container size is Holds 6 ounces by volume. 2.8" across x 1.8" deep
and this is about the wick wu-250For candle diameter:4-4.5"
Wax Pool (diameter) 3.32" Flame Height: 2.24"


I am going to buy either cd-12 wick or cd-20 for this container

but in what container could I use this wu-250 wick in ??

That particular wick is for a much larger container. You go by the "candle diameter" to choose your wick. The WU-250 is for a 4-4.5 inch candle diameter. Almost double the size you are currently using. You would need the CD-12, the CD-20 is too large for your containers.

The CD12 might work. See if you can get samples of some of these: cotton coreless wicks such as Eco, LX, HTP, Performa, RRD or even Hemp.

Yes, you can reuse the wax, but if there is any fragrance in it already and you add something else, it might change how the candle burns or it might weep.
