Hi, everyone!!
So I am so super excited I finally made my first set of candles (soy), the scent is great the color is great and I love them (vanilla-pomegranate, smells yummy!!)
One tiny little issue, I used glass votive holders (which were kept at room temperature), poured them, let them set and cool on their own at room temperature, and noticed the the wax has pulled away from the glass around the entire candle.

So, ok tell me what did I do wrong???

Thanks a bunch for any help that is provided!!

Candles need to cool off slowly. You could use a styrofoam cooler to keep the heat in so they cool off slower. That's most likely why they pulled away from the glass. Are you using 100% soy or is it a blend? Is it a container wax?

Soapbuddy, thank you for the response. I used 100% soy and it is a container soy, I looked closer and it's not that it pulled away it actually looks like a white crystalized layer between the wax and the jar. Could this be from the white die block I added to lighten the red?

Soy tends to frost. It's the nature of the beast. You can try quickly reheating the top with a heat gun, but there's a chance that the frosted look will come back.
