I notice at Bramble Berry that the candle fragrance all says FOR CANDLES ONLY. Okay, I can understand that I can't use that fragrance in soap but can I use soap fragrance in candles. For example, many people like my soap scented with Relaxing. Can I make travel tins and scent them with Relaxing?
Some companies have a chart with their fragrances that say if a scent is safe for soap.

I would send BrambleBerry an email and ask.

Relaxing makes a great candle at 1 oz./lb. in most waxes. I have been using BB's FO's for years in my candles with very good results! 8)

Does a fragrance heavy in vanilla like Relaxing cause the wax of a candle to take on any color like it does in soap?

I use a soy/paraffin blend for my candles and I color most of them and haven't had any vanilla based FO's discolor. However, I have a blueberry cheesecake FO (not BB's) that has an orange tint to it and it will mess with the blue dye I add and I'll get a green candle sometimes. I do add a UV additive to help keep the colors from fading. If I forget to add the UV to a solid vanilla scent, my candle will fade to a tan color instead of staying white.
