I just made my first container candles last night and had the oddest thing happen. Everything with the candle looked awesome at first, but close to the end of the drying stage, some of the wax caved in at the middle of the candle. What caused this?

Did you cool off the candle slowly? Some people put their candles into a insulated cooler and leave them there overnight.

Maybe that was the issue. I just let it dry at room temperature for 24 hrs.

Poke it a few times with a chop stick or something along that line, then heat gun the top to fill in the holes. I do this with all my candles in case their is an air pocket hiding below the surface.
