It may be a little late to introduce myself after having made a number of posts, but here it goes!
Life story aside I find myself working as a janitor at McDonalds while possessing a BS in Plant Biology, and having worked a year on my masters in Plant Biology I decided that teaching, the direction I was going in, wasn't for me. Having ALWAYS been known as a "mountain man" to my friends, I love doing everything the old fashioned way from gathering wild edibles to making my own maple syrup, beer, and herbal remedies. I'm trying to focus my collection of herb lore and channel it through CP soap that I hope to one day sell. My partner who is a business major and knows how to design and build websites capable of online ordering is going to be covering the business aspect of things while I do the lab work as it were.

So far I've found everyone here to be wonderfully welcoming, helpful, and very knowledgeable! I've learned more over the past few days here than I have in five batches of soap and a month and a half of soaping. Thank you everyone! If I can, I'll try and provide botanical/biochemical insight. As of right now I don't have much soaping knowledge to contribute, just to absorb. I started hitting the books on herbal medicine when I was in the third grade and haven't stopped since, so if you have questions about a plant, I'll do my best to dig through my brain or my book shelf for an answer.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! As for geology, lord knows as a kid I was a total rock hound and I took a few college courses in glacial geology.
