I picked one that was 80X80, uploaded, and pressed submit...then nothing. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, anna. I remember tearing my hair out trying to make an avatar, too. Resizing and compressing didn't seem to do anything for me, either. I could get my photo down to 75x75, but I couldn't get it under 6KB.

I ended up using this website to make an avatar: http://www.shrinkpictures.com/create-avatar/. You upload your photo, resize it (I set my pixels to 75), and then save it to your computer and upload to the forum.
