Hello, everyone! It was six years ago that I bought my first soap making book called "Soapmaking for the First Time" by Linda Orton. Finally, in the Spring of 2010, I made my first batch of CP. I had dabbled around with melt and pour but the soap didn't last long at all. I wanted to actually *make* something from scratch. I admit, I was terrified of the lye, but after the first two batches, I've calmed down a bit. I mix and set my lye water outside in a container that has warnings all over it so no one touches it.
Anyway, thanks for having me on the board and I've already learned alot from reading the forums!
