Teach Soap

Hi all,
Just joined the forum today, but have been following for nearly a month. I am a newbie to soap making, but have learned so much from reading and admiring the beautiful work on this site, Bramble Berry, and Anne Marie's blog. I have had a blast the last few months, and hope to keep learning!

I am a stage 3, Ovarian Cancer survivor..while going through my chemo treatments, I was given the gift of a handmade cap, by a woman who never even gave me her name. I knew then, I wanted to do the same thing, give back to other patients going through a hard time. I made jewelery for the patients for the last five yrs. and have only now switched over to homemade products. Hopefully they will love it as much as I do.

Great to have you here! I love your giving spirit. I continue to try to give to one of the shelters here a bar of soap from each batch I make... its great when we have been given so much to be able to share back with someone going thru 'ruff' times. This forum is a great place to ask questions, get ideas. My soapmaking would not be as far along today if not for the great people that help us here!
