Hi everyone,
I am very very very new to soaping (in other words, I haven't made anything yet LOL). I just placed two online orders. One with BrambleBerry and one with a company here in Canada. I can't wait to get my packages! The anticipation is killing me.

I've done lots of research on soap making, and decided it was best if I start with the melt & pour method. I eventually want to use the CP followed by HP method, but I'd like to get comfortable with M&P first. From what I've read, and the videos I've watched, it seems as though the M&P is easier to work with than the CP soap, and is less finicky with scents, colours and other additions.

I'm really excited to have discovered soap making and BrambleBerry AND especially this forum. I think I'll be spending lots of time here. I have looked through some of the threads and everyone is just so talented. I love all th creations -- very inspiring.

I'm sure you will fall in love with soapmaking... both melt and pour and CP. One great benifit is your house will smell great!
