Hi ev1. I joined the teach soap forum ages ago and silly me forgot to post an intro, so here goes.

My name is Denise and I've been making soap and candles for about 10 years now. I started off with m&p becouse at the time I still had kids at home and using lye scared the crap out of me. I still make m&p at times but my favorite is cpop. I love the control that I have in every step of my soap crafting. I also make other bath and body products such as bath fizzies, body butter, smellies, aroma bears, and other room fresheners and I've switched to soy candles and tarts instead of parrafin wax. Now if I can figure out what to do with about 200 lbs of parrafin wax, I could have space in my workroom to make more soaps and store them.
I've been selling at local craft shows and festivals for a few years and occasionally sell on ebay and etsy, though the fees on ebay have gotten completely insane these days. I have a website, but I'm sooo not able to figure out how to do anything with it, it's basically just a front page that acts as a place holder for now. Maybe someday i'll be able to do something with it? I want to open a store sometime in the near future. I've been refining my recipes, techniques and such and have been scouting out possible locations, but for now, I think it's still in the wishfull thinking stage, but ya just never know, IF I find the perfect location AND a decent rent, I'll do it.
Ok, so I've babbled long enough, I'll sign off for now. If anyone wants to know anything further, feel free to ask. I'm happy to answer most anything.

Denise

Hi Denise. I'm fairly new to this forum and soap making, but I wanted to say welcome.

Thank you for the welcome! I've been lurking here for so long, I feel like I know ev1 already. Now it's my turn to post a bit so ev1 can get to know me too. I'm looking forward to swapping tips and ideas with all of you.

Denise
