Hi there,
my name is Cath and I am from Australia.
I stumbled across this forum when I google soap making. My daughter's grade 6 teacher gave her some soap for Christmas that she made herself and I just fell in love. I would love to make this my new hobby but I am a bit lost as to where to start.
Could anyone give me some advise as to maybe where you started from, whether a kit would be better or buy as you go.
I did visit Bramble Berrys but I am not sure whether they have a store here in Australia, and I also watched some of the Soap Queen videos, which was very dangerous as she makes it look so easy!!!
Thanks so much, hope you all are having a lovely day,

Cheers,
Cath

Aussie Soap Supplies has BrambleBerry's Melt and Pour bases, they're based in WA and although I haven't used them I've heard only great things. Melt and Pour might be a bit safer especially around kids than the Cold Process with lye (sodium hydroxide).

Welcome and no doubt after your first successful batch you'll be addicted!
