Welcome to the forum Soapdope!

For handmilled or rebatched soap you might want to read this thread here on the forum . Other links of interest for you would be , , and . The last link is really good in that it covers what you need to know about rebatching, materials and equipment needed and compares it to the other types of soapmaking available. Hope this helps!

Welcome Soapdope! Glad to have more guys in the group! ( Keeps us girls from getting too catty!)

Anyway, because most re-milled or rebatch soap comes from CP soap you either have to make it first with lye or buy pre-made rebatch soap.

Anne-Marie at www.BrambleBerry.com just happens to have some really nice soap made just for Handmilled/rebatch/remilled soap! (I like the Luxury blend myself!) She also has great instructions for someone who has never done it before. You can also get Lavender Essential Oil and maybe Patchouli Essential oil.( very expensive right now, everywhere.)
