Teach Soap

I'm new here and don't want to get into heavy soap making, but I would like to make melt and pour soap with messages written on them. On Craft Lab with Anne-Marie, she made soap and put a written message on it that would dissolve. It wasn't the message that she put in a plastic container. She said you could find the paper at a cake decorating shop. I've looked all over the web. I saw a website that made really neat soaps with initials on top and sayings, etc. Thanks for any help.

They are watersoluble papers and you can find a description on the above link, about half way down the page. Hope this helps.

From what I read on this same topic- I read that your best bet is to use a laser printer for your message, or it might dissolve in the soap itself. It's on my list of things to try, but apparently hasn't made it to the top yet.

And another hint is that many of the reds in regular inkjet printers bleed but if you find a pigment based inkjet cartridge (they do make them!), you'll have even better results. =)

I have been making prints at local Kinko's. Don't use their laser printer! Instead ask at the counter to print your files on Fiery printer that they have. Price is 49 cents per sheet, colors are gorgeous, and they don't bleed ever
