Hi everyone! I'm currently in the Philippines for a vacation (i love the heat) and wanted to post a question about making soaps for my furry friend, Cordie (he's a Bernese Mountain Dog - i'm writing a blog about it but it's still ). I'm in the progress of making my own dog soap. Because dog soaps are sold here quite costly, I decided to make my own. I'm just not sure what soap chemicals aren't safe for our furry friend. I wanted to create an Oatmeal Honey Soap as I've heard oatmeals are the best for dog's scalp. There are a bunch of DIY's about dog soaps but I have a specific supplier i wanted to try. Is it recommended to purchase an olive oil glycerine melt & pour soap and use it as base to make Oatmeal Honey Soap (i don't know what ph is safe for dogs?) Please let me know as i plan to make a bunch and hopefully if all turns out good, i can maybe sell it to some. Any advise would be helpful. (below is what i want my dog soap to become like)
