Teach Soap

I'm so excited I finally Finally got to make my first batch of CP Soap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to share with people who would understand. I have only a few of each e.o.'s and f.o.'s.
I thought the Current Fig that came with my box would be okay, but I wanted something for Valentines Day, so I went with Almond Cherry! Hello first batch and a touchy fragrance in CP soap. I'd forgotten that until I thought WOW trace comes quicker than I thought!!!
Beginners luck I guess it looks great, smells awesome, color is ehh? But for first attempt I'm optimistic! Can't wait to post result's in 6 weeks....

Congratulations, Becca, & welcome! Isn't making soap one of the greatest things you've ever done? I get excited just thinking about it. LOL

I'm new to the world of soapmaking as well, and from what I've seen, this forum is a wonderful resource! Can't wait to see your creations!

Welcome! Congrats on your first soap, it is such a joy to make! My first soap was unscented, uncolored, got lots of soda ash on top, and when cut made individual "chunks" instead of bars. And was the most beautiful soap I ever made. I still have one bar (er, chunk) from that batch. Glad you could share with us.
