Teach Soap

I just wanted to say "hello" and introduce myself. I am a total newbie. I found my way into the soaping world as two things came together in my world. One - I started researching ways I could make an effective cream to treat my own psoriasis. Two - we installed a beautiful, new, deep soaking tub when we had our bathroom remodeled and I wanted to make some home made bubble bath.

Researching these two things I found intriguing new terms like "shampoo base" and "cold process" and I have been dabbling in a bit of this and a bit of that. I have played with melt and pour mostly, done some after shave for my DH, made wonderful solid bubble bath, and had a lot of failed experiments - you will probably be reading about those later

I did many experiments but failed many times in making soap. Actually it was my idea to start soaping business but on the incessant insistence of my uncle I end up being a coffee dealer. But making soap will always remain as my hobby.
