Hi Everyone,
I'm a newbie here. I've been making CP for about 1 year. I usually give most of my soap away. Gets Expensive! My co workers like it and suggest I sell it. I work full time and I am not sure I would be able to produce enough soap to sell. I am also interested in M&P. Would it make sense to sell both? This way if I don't have enough CP ready I could easily make some M&P. I have read when selling it's better to focus on one type of soap.

If you plan on selling either, I would get all your paperwork together that's needed in order to sell. Check with your local city hall or small business administration for the rules and regs in your area.

Hi Donna!
In addition to what Soapbuddy said, check with your state as well because in some states (like FL) you need a manufacturer's license to sell MP soap and you can't do it from your home.

Welcome, Donna!

I'd just add buying insurance to Irena and Linda's lists of things to do before you sell. You can focus on selling one type of soap and still dabble in the other.
