I'm new to soap making. I've been looking around and doing tons of research. I really want to make more custom products that are good for my skin. I also really love purchasing CP soap and really wanted to start making my own so I could customize my scents and the formula to get what I desired.

I've made 3 batches so far, and they turned out good - but not terribly pretty! I've just started using my own bars as they finally finished curing over the past weekend. I generally cure my soaps for 6 weeks before use. I have a coconut milk soap formula that I've been working with, though I keep tweaking it as needed.

So far I'm enjoying the science and chemistry that has been involved with it! I'm hoping to do other products, but I know I don't intend to sell or gift anything I make. Too nervous about something going wrong and getting sued!
