I am thinking about setting up a website to sell my products. However, I would like to know from those that have websites, are they really worth it? Do you generate a lot of sells from your website? Do you get a lot of interest for your products through your website? How do you market your website? I do not want to invest a lot on a website if it is not going to generate revenue for me. I have realized that craft shows, farmers markets, and home shows seem to be where I have gotten a lot of profit. I do have local interest from people, but I am wondering if a website will help me to venture into a broader market or am I being unrealistic?

I have had my own web site since 1991. I wouldn't get as many sales if I didn't. You need to advertise wherever you can; FaceBook, Twitter and your own blog will bring more potential customers to your site.
