Hi,

My name is Mountainlion and I've been soaping for about six months. I've been lurking here for a while but thought I'd officially say hi.

I've always been into crafting in one way, shape, or form and I dye and spin and knit wool for fun. I'm a trained biochemist but I'm not working in the field anymore as I'm following my dream to become a published romance author. So during the day I'm writing novels, and the rest of the time I'm doing crafty stuff. I got into soap making six months ago at a class and I've been playing around ever since.

Soap making is great for me because I get to do crafty stuff and science at the same time...

Anyway it's nice to be here.

Hi there and I am from NZ too. Although there are a few of us soapers here in NZ I have yet to meet one. Where are you based? I'm in Cambridge. Enjoy the addiction and maybe one day I'll get to read one of your books.
