Teach Soap

Hello everyone! I started getting interested (or should I say obsessed) with soap this past December. My brother sent a sampler box of natural soaps from Austin Texas as a x-mas gift. The whole family loved them and we "fought" over getting to open each new one. I started thinking about how nice it would be to always have such nice handmade soaps in the house. I was curious if it was something that I could do. I was thinking this for a few days when my daughter said to me something like "Wouldn't it be awesome if we could make soaps like this?" I told her that I had been thinking the exact same thing! I started doing research that day. Talk about information overload!! Since then I have learned so much and have "soap on the brain" mostly all of the time! I swear I go to bed thinking about soap and I wake up the same way! Is this normal? Anyway, I made my first batch of cp soap on March 1st - still waiting to use. Next, I used the same receipe and used the hp method. We are still using those bars. Since then I have done some simple mp projects and this past weekend I tried my hand at rebatch soap. I am just starting to get into learning about coloring and am starting to collect some different collorants and fragrances to experiment with. So many different things to do and try! My husband thinks I should focus on one thing at a time but it's hard because I am so excited to try everything.
I still have so many questions and I am dying to talk with people that are as interested in soap as I now am. I'm afraid that my family and co-workers are getting a little burnt-out! Looking forward to connecting with others in this forum!
