Sorry I posted this in the wrong Forum. I just reposted in CP

O.k., I learned now to cover my CP goat milk soap with saran wrap....the hard way. I just made *my* most involved batch of soap for a soap swap in May and it has a thin layer of ash on top. All the info I can find tells me how to prevent it next time, but I need help with this batch. Is there a solution someone came up with to wipe off and remove that layer without causing much distortion to the soap?

If it's just a thin layer, try spritzing it with alcohol and wipe off.
