 Post subject: failed milling

My first attempt at milling has failed. I used a base recipe which had castor oil included. The milling recipe suggested using the base within 3-6 days of being made so I did. It was still a bit soft. The extra ingredients included 10oz of alcohol which had had lavender steeped in it. Now I have a gelatinous goo in my molds which are not going to harden. It smells yummy. Can I rescue this by rebatching and adding a castile soap I made a few weeks ago and nothing else? Why did my soap turn out like this anyway.

Rebatch soap does not do well with alcohol added (unless you're trrying to make translucent soap).
I'm not sure I would rebatch this rebatch. If you have a castille base, rebatch that as is.
Why do you need to rebatch this within 3-6 days??? I have made a rebatch soap with shreds that were at least 6 months old. It did come out "rustic" looking, but that's what rebatch usually looks like.
