Recently got an email on how to make snowball globe soaps. I haven't tried it yet, but in the past, I bought the sphere mold from BB and the soap leaked all over, even with rubber bands on. Plus the small hole on top does not make it very attractive. It leaves a dent..

Anyone else has this problem? Since I really want to try making these soaps....

Thank you!

I used the small sphere mold before. I didn't have a problem with leaking when I used rubber bands but those holes were way too tiny! Soap in an injector would cool too fast to make several trips to fill it - and getting a small enough stream to pour from a container allso made the soap cool and glob to easily. Had the hubby take a drill to the holes and widen them enough so I could pour in the soap from measuring cup.
I only had a nubby piece on a few of them and I rounded that off with carving tool.
The snow globes do look precious and I'm considering ordering one of the bigger molds.
