I did my first craft show last weekend and did really well. I was so nervous and doing something that so differnt for me... WAY OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE! I was out of place compaired to the 'more seasoned' vendors. I was over dressed compaired to most of them. I stood out like a 'newbie'.
My sister and I stood in front of my table and greated people as they walked by, we made sure people were talked to when they approached the table. We had things out to smell and touch. Samples to hand out if anyone wanted. A long story short, I made almost $400. I was told by one of the experienced vendors it was a really bad show. But that vendor never left her seat unless she needed food or a rest room break. Did I have beginners luck?
