Teach Soap

Is it OK to combine say a Shea or coconut butter m&p and an aloe, hemp, olive oil or other clear m&p? I would like the moisture of the Shea but add the aloe or some other see through soap to give it a prettier look. I'm not sure if they would work together or have some type of adverse reaction.

Also, would it be OK to add extra glycerin in the batch to keep it from setting up to fast....while I work other colors, etc into it?

I have combined different MP soap bases from the same company with no problem. I would not add extra glycerin as that can make the soap weep.
