Happy Sunday!

I'm thinking about giving away test/sample size bars of soap to family and friends so that I may get their feedback on my soap. I'm trying to decide what a good size bar is so I was wondering if anyone else has done this. I don't want the bar to be too big or too small. I'm thinking about 1-2oz bars, but wanted to see what others think/have done.

1-2 ounces sounds like a good size for test soaps. For samples (like freebies to go with orders) I'd do something smaller - in my mind a free sample soap should be just enough to smell and use a few times to decide if you like it enough to buy more.

Mine are around 1 oz. Big enough to test with at least a couple of times.

I ended up cutting my batch up into 1oz bars...it is actually a decent size! I'm so excited to get these out, receive the feedback, and make more soap!!

The sample soaps I've been sending out are 1 oz. size.
