Teach Soap

My daughter just knocked my digital scale onto the floor! Anyone know which big box retailers carry them but not too expensive? Maybe $25? I have orders I have to finish for tomorrow O.o

Mine came from Wal-Mart for about $20-24, but it's only an 11 lb max, if that is what you are looking for.

same here, got mine at walmart for 25.00 . Just a note, open the box and make sure they put batteries inside. I orginally bought the smaller one which came with a watch battery that was missing and they didnt have the replacement battery for it. I returned that one and got the 25.00 one.

Glad someone brought this up because I was going to ask a scale question. I assume the ones at Walmart weigh small amounts? I have two scales here, 1 I use to weigh my birds and one I use to weigh packages for shipping. I was going to use one of them to measure my ingredients in oz or grams per your suggestions, but neither one would read the small amount:( I thought maybe I would have to get a jewelers scale, but if the one at Walmart works for small amounts I'll go that way.

I wouldn't recommend using a scale for soaping goods and then your birds. Never know what they may be sensitive to!

The 25.00 one at walmart only does tenths of an ounce so what I do is round up or down when I have something like .25...down for lye, and up for water. You can also switch it to grams.

For future reference if you have a Harbor Freight near you, they also have some pretty good scales.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

Lol... When it comes to retail stores...I like to pick things up and handle them before making decisions to buy. I only shop online for etsy shops and wholesale supplies lol
