Teach Soap

I just received my order of MP and couldn't wait to get started. I have just made my first batch and I'm having a hard time waiting for it to set. PLEASE somebody help me stay away from the mold. Is there any way to get it to set quicker than 2 hours.

Stick it in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes.

Congrats on your first bar. You are ahead of me. I have heard but not sure that you could put it in the freezer for a little while to speed it up.

Thanks, I'm dying here to see what it's going to look like. I have another shipment of supplies coming this week so I'm turning the cellphone off, kicking the husband out and gonna burn up the microwave melting base this week.

Be careful using the microwave for your MP. Make sure that it doesn't heat up the base too much. If there are any small pieces left in your container, you can stir them in by hand till they melt.

Thanks soapbuddy for the heads up. I put the base in the nuker for 20-30 bursts. It looked pretty good before I poured it. We'll see soon. It's just about time to take it out of the freezer.
