I ordered 2 lbs of Aloe Vera clear base, a blackberry sage scent, a plain rectangle mold, and light gold mica. All from brambleberry!

This will be my first try. So tell me if this sounds right, or if I am going to mess up.

#1. Microwave the base on 30 second bursts 3 times.
#2. Drop in the scent and mix it.
#3. Add in Mica and mix it.
#4. Check temp for 120 - 125 degrees.
#5. Pour into mold, spray with alcohol and let sit for 5 hours.

What did I miss? thanks!

Depending on what the total of the base you are using at once, you might not need that much time in the micro. Heat it up til most of the base is dissolved, then stir the rest of the way. You don't want to overheat your base. I would get some disposable pipettes, so you can add the right amount of fragrance. Have fun!

Thanks for the tip, so it sounds like I have most of it right. I just hope my package comes by friday so I can do it this weekend.

I agree with the melting time - that will vary, but the rest sounds good to me. Here are some videos that may help too!
