Teach Soap

I discovered quite by accident by packaging soap in cello treat bags, and tying it with a pretty ribbon, that the fragrance cannot seep through the Cellophane like it does from the Ziplock or Saran Wrap. I looked up to see why that might be and here is what Wiki says: Cellophane is a thin, transparent sheet made of regenerated cellulose. Its low permeability to air, oils, greases, bacteria and water makes it useful for food packaging. I wonder if using cello will extend the shelf life of the soap?

I don't think cello would extend the shelf life of soaps. It also deteriorates faster then polypropylene.

I like to use the clear treat bags from the cake decorating aisle to package my MP also, I believe they are Wilton brand. I can't attest to any kind of shelf life expectancies, but they will shift quite a bit in the bags if you leave much wiggle room, which can cause some cosmetic issues. Other than that, you might want to also try a bit tighter "seal" by also using small rubber bands in addition to that pretty ribbon.
