Hi.. I'm on my second batch of M&P and having a blast..I'm skipping work to play..

I like to add herbs or flowers to the mix and to suspend it in my Goat's Milk or Shea soap so far is good..working for the flowers but I added the more weighty vanilla chips/seeds and of course I know they sink (from what I've read).. But I read somewhere you thicken the base and it should suspend. I used a whisk and it made a nice bubbley mix but it didn't seem thicker..the tiny bubbles may have helped suspend.. Anyway, my actual question is, is there a better way to blend than using a whisk..Would the beaters to my kitchen mixer work like as if I were making whipped cream or should I buy one of those hand held stirrers that run on a battery..?
