I keep hearing about "Etsy". Can someone clue me in on what itis and how it works?

Etsy is a website where crafters sell their stuff! It was created for and by crafters and ONLY sells handmade items.

They are a truly wonderful site. It's free to register, free to keep your own storefront and they charge a very nominal fee to post items for sale. I would post a novella here for you, but I think this site sums it up better than I ever could: . It's VERY user friendly. :D

No it wasn't difficult. I just followed the prompts.
I set the account so people could pay me with paypal. I set it up, so the shipping was for 5 ozs. (per soap) in a padded envelope.

I have a couple of questions about Etsy. I know it is free to setup. How many products can you have in your store? When do you pay? Do you pay for it as you sell it? Is it cost effective? I currently have a free site but I can only have 5 items (catagories) total. Do they send you a bill for the listing fees? It is all so very confusing. Thanks.
