I have a lot of men in my family and have tried unsuccessfully to make shaving soap that they will use. The lather is fine, the scent is fine but it doesn't have the slip and slide they want. I have used Shea based melt and pour with 2 tsp Kaolin clay, V1/8 tsp itamin E, and 1/4 tsp of hyrdrolized protein to 1 lb of melt and pour. Any suggestions?

check out the shaving soap recipe at Therapy Garden( TherapyGarden™ Rich & Creamy Shaving Soap)
it is the absolute best.

And where it calls for the goats milk base ans shea base I have always used BB LCP whit soap base and I have added my shea butter and or goats milk to the batch.
