My soap molds keep the smell of previous soaps even after washing them. How do I get the fragrance off the mold? I just did a pumpkin scented soap and the front of it smells like strawberries

. If anyone knows how to fix this I'd love to know as soon as possible because I have to have them done by Monday and this problem is new to me. Not sure why it didn't happen before.

Are they plastic, rubber or silicone? If they are plastic, try a paste of baking soda and water and a plastic scrubby sponge. For silicone, put them empty into your oven and heat them up to 300 degrees (US). Most silicone should be safe at this temp. Leave them there for one hour, then let them cool off on their own. Rubber is the most difficult as it picks up scents easily. Are the scents coming into your previous batches, or can you just smell the soap mold?

They are silicone molds that I made myself so maybe those are even worse for absorbing smell? Its he flexy fast kit from Bramblebery. The actual soap smells like the previous soap. It's probably only on the top but it for an order so I was very worried. Thank you for the tips!
