Hi - I have an order for 20 soaps and they are asking for a cream color? How do i get that? Thank you.

I've made an olive, coconut & castor oil soap that was a creamy color. It didn't have any color or fragrance added to it.

Ooops - sorry - I forgot I was on the MP board!

Maybe if you added a little bit of honey to a white base?

For cream color you could mix up the tiniest amount of red and green, since those two colors make brown.

The Brambleberry Goat's Milk base has a natural cream color to it, so if you used that you wouldn't have to do anything colorwise to the soap. Also, certain fragrances can discolor your base, too... so make sure that the fragrance you use won't darken the soap too much, but you could also use a fragrance that will discolor to the cream as well. Otherwise, adding just the smallest amount of brown and even smaller amount of orange colorant to a white soap base should give you a cream.

Goats milk powder gives a lovely cream look. You could also use a touch of yellow mica in there, with some titanium oxide.

I've used mica, titanium oxide and coconut milk powder before to lovely effect. To give you an idea, the angel on the top of this one was done like that. Those soaps also had vanilla in (the main scent), so that may have also contributed to the creamy colour too.
