I have both types.
Which is better for embedding?
What is the difference between them as far as using them for different things?

Liquid colors are easier to mix into your MP base. Powdered need to be dissolved into glycerin so you don't get color specks.

Many of BB's liquid colors are basically powdered oxides dispersed in glycerin. Like soapbuddy says, it is easier to add your powdered colorants into your base if you mix them with glycerin beforehand - otherwise you'll get clumps and specks. The liquid colors just save you that step.

For M&P, you can also dissolve your powdered colorants with a bit of rubbing alcohol before adding it to your base. To add powdered colorants to CP, I'd mix it with some glycerin or a carrier oil.

I just ordered the whole BB Collection of oxides/pigments.
I know that for M&P soap that it's best to mix the powder
with alcohol or glycerin. I would prefer to used glycerin.

What is the glycerin technique? Is there an all natural
liquid glycerin? I didn't see anything listed in the BB
online store. Any links or product suggestions is appreciated.
