Hi everyone,
This was my first time using a Wilton silicone mold with MP. I loved the way my soap released but it was so hard keeping any little bit of dust out of my mold. I keep a clean house and a clean work space but every time I washed and wiped the mold with a lint free towel I found another small piece of dust. The silicone seemed like a magnet, anyone else have this problem and any ideas how to solve it? Thanks

Hi, MarMic, and welcome! I like to spritz a paper towel with rubbing alcohol and wipe out my molds. It seems to help with the dust problem, and it gets my molds extra clean! I hope that helps!

You can also use a dryer sheet - it helps cut down on the static that attracts the lint.

And if you do still get a piece of dust on the surface of a finished bar, you can use the tip of an Exacto knife to gently lift it away. Then just run your finger over the soap to smooth the surface.
