I saw this soap from Songbird Soaps. I love how the design is done in it.
Any ideas on how this is done.
Is it part of a mold that is done separately?

Could the design be poured in the mold, allowed to harden and then the rest of the base be poured over it?

I'm pretty sure that's CP. The red layer is poured at a thicker trace then swirled only on top, so the swirls don't go all the way through. I'm not sure you would be able to get the same exact affect in MP.
