Teach Soap

I thought everyone would get a kick out of this. At my fiance's workplace, they have a visiting shop that comes in daily of different community businesses to sell things to employees. Yesterday they had a soap and candle shop. Having him trained, he went to explore and see what things they had. Some other guys form the IT department came with him, and saw these adorable cupcakes that had REAL icing on them, stored in little cupcake paper, and smelled like real chocolate cupcakes....

...long story short, believing they were real cupcakes, they had a rather nasty surprise when they bit into it, finding M&P soap.

As funny as it may sound, these products were not labeled, no ingredients labeled, and they were presented as real food. Even though we may think its cute putting our stuff out like this, we have to remember there is a reason we have insurance ^^;;

That's the problem with soap that looks like real food. A friend in Canada is not allowed to make soap that looks like this for that very reason. They should have had a banner, or a shelf talker or at least a very visible ingredients list. Her table should have a "NOT EDIBLE!" "SOAP" or something similar. If someone gets sick, she could very well loose her business; if it's a bona fide business.
