Can anyone tell me if I can use a wooden soap mould with melt and pour soap base please?

Or are these moulds only suitable for cold process soap making?

Thanks! I need a reply quite quickly, so if anyone can help that would be great

Wooden molds are really best for CP soap. MP will either seep through or stick to the mold. I guess you could line it, but honestly, I wouldn't bother. I bet you would loose some MP in the process. There are many plastic molds available that are specifically for MP.

If you line it with wax paper, you should be fine. There are videos on Youtube that are great at explaining how to use them with MP.

i use a silicone loaf mold i got at the thrift store for $1. they sale the same one on wholesalesuppliesplus.com. then i pop it out of the mold and cut it. im looking at this cutter that is like a metal tray. after you take your loaf out of the mold you set it on the tray and it has markers to slice it into perfect bars. its also on the above website for about $23.
