Teach Soap

Hi there! I've lurked on this site for a very long time. I'm an all-over soaper - CP, HP, CPHP, M&P, liquid soap...if it exists, I've tried it.

Does anyone make M&P bars in a slab mold with dividers? I'm trying it and will share results, but if anyone has done it and has a strong opinion either way, please let me know.

So far, I've poured a top layer, divided it, punched cutouts, and poured a clear layer to seal the cutouts. Today I'm preparing to pour the rest of the bars. I'm torn between leaving the dividers in place and pouring into each cavity or removing dividers to do one big pour before setting the dividers back in place.

I would just leave the dividers in there and pour separately into each one.
It might be hard trying to fit the dividers back into their places in the first layer of clear soap.

Anne-Marie did it that way as well with these soaps;

I ended up prying the dividers out gently while pushing down on each bar so it stayed "stuck" to the liner. Then I swirled over the top and pushed the dividers back in place. That part came out well. The bits with the punch out, not so much. So it'll work for basic layers.
