Hi everyone,
I finally made some melt and pour soap. I knew that I would enjoy it, but now I know that I like it and enjoy it. I made oatmeal and goatsmilk soap with the goatsmilk base. I used the recipe from Teach Soap on the Fun Soap recipe section. I also made some lotion and lip gloss, but I will talk about that on the lotion forum. At this moment, I wish I had the money to just make and make and make it. It is extremely easy and very fun.

Here is a question for you. If my skin is more oily in the summer, would the goatsmilk base add too much moisture to my skin? Would a regular base be better for my skin?

Thanks for letting me get that out. I just enjoyed it so much especially knowing that it is better for my skin than store bought.

You can use either lotion base. The goat's milk lotion should not make your skin more oily.
