Teach Soap

I would like to make some Lego minifig soaps using this mold: http://shop.lego.com/ByCategory/Product ... n=13&d=443

Obviously I could pour it all one color but I would prefer to make it look like an actual Lego guy with a yellow head and hands and different colored shirt and pants like these: http://legomyphoto.wordpress.com/page/22/

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to pour this?

Doing multiple pours on this one looks tricky.... especially the way his shirt comes up on the shoulders.... it would take a lot of pours and patience! If you tried it I would definitely get the soap tools kit to help with the details.

The easiest way may be to make them white and then use soap paints for the details.

It might help if you pour solid colors then cut- kinda like soapylove did parts of her mini-cooper here:


pour solid, cut off the arms, legs, and head and stick them back in the mold, then repour the body a different color.
