Teach Soap

My children's school is having their annual fundraising auction in several weeks. I would like to make some really nice gift baskets of M&P soap to auction off. I'd like to try to come up with some "themes" for the baskets. I thought that one might be "A Year of Soap" with 12 bars of different themed soap. However I don't know if the M&P will keep that long. Does any one else have some ideas for gift baskets? Thanks!!!!

Hi When I moved alittle over a yr ago, a box of soaps that I had made ended up in storage by mistake, I just recently found them. They seem fine. The scent wasn't as strong.

A basket with a couple of bars and some home made (dry) milk bath or bath salts, some body powder. Home made milkbath, bath salts & body powder are very easy to make and you can make any amount you need.

You might consider a theme basket that relates to an upcoming holiday that's close to the date of the auction. Depending on who's at the auction, a kid-friendly basket might work well too. Good luck!

How about a Spa Day? Soaps, bath sponge, facial brush a washcloth or maybe some bath salts?

How about 4 season theme? Different colors and scents cater to different season needs. Doesn't have to be limited to M&P, can add scrub, bath fizzies/bombs/soak, lip balm/gloss, matching perfume oil... endless possibilities!

How about a spring/summer/beachy kind of thing...God knows I am ready for it..

I made some nice big ones for Christmas gifts...they were loved by all... Good luck....
